Goldeneye Source

Jesus Christ is there a lot of troll in this thread.

Here’s a few N64 sounds I recorded if anyone’s interested…

I tried out this recent version of GoldenEye: Source.

Turns out that not all of the shots you fire at people actually ‘register’, which really sucks.

Explains why when I shoot someone first and they don’t die, they kill me instead.

Trust me it’s a lot better then it was since the beta 1.0.

Very true. It was so buggy, that at times, it nigh unplayable.

As a final retort, a high end PC with half way decent specs will cost anywhere near $1000, home consoles cost half that much. Now, I did spend $1000 on an excellent laptop that can handle anything I throw at it (save for Crysis – but who wants to a play a game for graphics anyways), and I purchased all my consoles with my own money (not all at once, of course), and I don’t exactly have disposable income.

The only ones I didn’t pay for was my N64 and SNES. I was gifted with a PSone, but I traded my brother for the 64 because I favored Nintendo’s system over Sony’s. And I was randomly given the SNES with twenty some odd games. I traded about 3/4 of the games to get $40 in-store credit, which was phenomenal.

I’ll give you one thing, emulation does have its advantages, however nothing outweighs the satisfaction of playing a classic game on its home console.

I’m sorry that you are sorry and I hope you are sorry that I’m sorry that you are sorry

The same thing that is wrong with you, roaming around the BMS forums
but I stand by my emulator comments

4.2 is out, and it has bots baby.

I was Very close to tearing you to pieces for reviving this old thread,

-but it was relevant.

Yaay Bots,

I haven’t played much after I started this thread but with a new comp I think I need to give it a shot again. Thanks for the update

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
