One question: Will Red Dead Redemption be out for PC?
nop sory
It looks like it would be fun for a while, but get boring and repetitive quick.
I think it’s good for a rent.
Are you going to get it for the 360 or Ps3?
(I have no idea which console you have)
while you wait, take a look at this old west source mod
fistful of frags
it’s the best source mod i’ve seen so far hands down (and there are servers running)
There has never been a good Western game, especially Fistful of Frags, but RDR gives me hope for the future.
I know how you feel, me and my mate have been going crazy for it. Sick of MW2. I live in the UK so we have to wait 3 days extra. It should be released globally at the same date IMO like GTA IV was, there are over 5 million people waiting on the thing.
EDIT: It will be released on PC, but some time later on. Their obviously adding new and better features/ better graphics. They did the same with GTA IV. No one expected it to have a PC release, and it did.
fistful of frags was really fun when it was just sorta unfinished tdm but they finished it into a real game and now it sucks
No, it was the same game unoptimized and glitchy.
Still, if it’s for the PC It’ll most likely support mods and some nice person who has the ability to will probably address those bugs and probably even get better textures. Plus, shooters suck for consoles.
plenty of shooters are great on consoles trhats bullshit
I never liked western style games but many people say that western games will become popular and more crap like this will come out for some reason.
because its a fascinating period of history and a genre that has an incredible impact on the media for the past 100 years and so all of our society
I’ve already got it preordered. It looks amazing, and the map is going to be enormous. Hopefully they’ve got a bunch of hidden stuff to look for to make it worth it to explore the entire map.
Preorder at Amazon and get a $20 credit. That makes it very tempting.
Or preorder at Gamestop.com and get a $10 credit and free upgrade to limited edition, but Im not interested in that, plus their credit codes dont stack with other coupon codes.
The problem with the “Wild West” is that it has limited weapons and limited environments, meaning it will get old about 10X faster than WWII shooters got old, even if it is open world.
I’d like a western shooter combined with elements of another time period, similar to how Assassin’s creed combined futuristic elements with classic history.
AC1 - Altair
AC2 - Ezio Auditore
AC3 - John Wayne
