If you are nervous about what you wanna say or should you write a speech or how to make it an uber momentous speech… dont. If you are not a speech kinda guy, don’t force yourself to be one.

But if it was my girlfriend… Well for starters she wouldn’t be my girlfriend anymore if she pulled a trick like that on me, but anyway, if it was my girlfriend, it would take her quite some time to make me trust her again and show me that she really loves me rather than just taking me for the convenience.

My opinion is not worth much in this subject, but I think Mr. Shadow might be doing the right thing here. If she demonstrated to be truly sorry, she will be shocked when she is purposed. She won’t be expecting it, and will probably feel she does not deserve the complete forgiveness he is giving to her. It is a perfect demonstration of how much he loves her.
But, then, he is risking a lot because she might not be truly sorry, which makes it a very strong proof of love. And also a proof that he and his girlfriend are having a relationship rather than a power struggle.
What I think is Shadow should do it, but only if he is really, really, really sure about it. Be careful.

Tell her to ask him for a date. It’s perfectly normal for a woman to do so these days. Unless she really just wants to fuck then any of the aforementioned works perfectly fine.
Tell her to be up front about it. If she wants sex and nothing more, the best thing is to just be honest about it.
