See a different doctor cuz yes there is actually something that would cause extreme mood swings. A hormone imbalance would do it big time. Estrogen makes you moody, testosterone makes you aggressive. (Yes there are other things these do but bear with me…) If your body releases a small extra amount of estrogen, you are gonna get moody and bitchy like a woman on the rag.

I thought it was the balance between progesterones and oestrogen that do that cause moodyness. Aka. the “imbalance” to which you refer. The balance which shifts during your cycles. Not a single hormone acting alone?
I am not a doctor, but I do know that one of the major things teens have to deal with are the extra estrogen girls have to deal with, and the extra testosterone that boys have to deal with. I am not suggesting he is a prebubesent teen, (to which I know he ISNT) but I am sure there is more to it, and it is just an example that there may be a hormone imbalance thing going on.
I have a lot of dreams about this ex-girlfriend of mine I almost got married to. But things went south and we broke up. I have the incredible urge to talk to her again.
