Anyone know a good GIF animating program? One where there is no annoying message that says “UNREGISTERED” right at the middle of the GIF.

MS Gif Animator. It’s the one I use and I love it.

never mind guys. i actually found a pretty good one called “Easy GIF Animator”. it actually is pretty easy, perfect for noobs like me.

Another good one is Jasc Animation Shop. It’s what I used to make my avatar and plenty of other gifs.

I use a combination of Gimp and Unfreeze. Basically all you do is get some pictures, convert them using Gimp and either make a gif using Gimp or drag the images to Unfreeze to make them.

I wish there was a program where you can automatically turn a video clip into a gif though :frowning: .

Animation Shop does it. Only with old format .avi though. Which I convert most things to with VirtualDub

Personally I’d make an animated PNG if I was to do something like that - no 256 colour limit to worry about…
