Get Black Mesa on Steam! We can do it!

It would be awesome if BM was the first.

At this rate I think that is likely.

None. The general hope is that Black Mesa will be the first!

Wish I could vote, I don’t own any Steam games yet. I’ve only played the HL games on a friend’s Steam account.

Maybe he didn’t change his password… hmmmmmmmmmm

Can anyone explain how it is possible that “Gear Up” (6%) developers are already sending Steam Keys for public alpha testing?

You got that right bro  Slender: Source is an impressive project, but as you said, nothing compares to BM. NOTHING.

O_O maybe the most rated game of the week will be the one released…

Perhaps they applied to steam before greenlight, and didn’t hear back until after it had started and they’d posted it on greenlight.

seems likely

Yeah, they didn’t get accepted through Greenlight… so who knows…

who says those are steam keys?

D: Wait a second!!!.. wait a goddamned second!!

[COLOR=‘DimGray’]“It makes Black Mesa fans look like a bunch of douchebags.”

Who ever ever said we weren’t?!!!

j/k

a guy named 999invaderrexPWN is spamming hl2 based videos to vote for thsi but not posting links or on what.

This game is already integrated in Steam and they even have Steam’s achievements: https://steamcommunity.com/id/MarkieSKII/stats/GearUp

Well I know most of you seem a bit bored of this by this point, but we have 40% showing on the main count now, so that’s awesome.

Indeed- First Greenlight game a remake of the game that started all this. BM should be outstanding regardless.

Yay 40%!

That’s over 40,000 people;nothing to scoff at.

Hi,

In order to make people get notice of the greenlight vote for Black Mesa, I’ve created a collection here, with only Black Mesa project in it. And I’ve shared some of my thoughts on the page as you can see.

I didn’t expect it to be the most voted collection in greenlight collection system, but all your fans gave ratings to it, so it is on the top.

Although, I think that it was a good thing since more people gets to know about the project by that way; some people started to think that I was a part of the developer team(I stated that I’m not, but who reads :S).

So, it’s my right to create a collection whatever way I want; but since people mistakes me with the developer team, I’m here to say that I can change the name or the details of the collection as you -developer team- thinks appropriate.

PS ::: I guarantee you that I will not do anything ,that would damage the project name, with the collection.

[COLOR=‘Red’]Mod Note: This is more a comment than a thread.

A collection is no easier to find than an individual project. If anything, it adds another step between the user and the project. Also, the point of a collection is to take the attention a user shows Project A to notice Project B, via relation by Collection.

The gesture is understood though, I’d guess.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
