so… since there is nothing to debate about black mesa people talk about not related to BM things more and I am one of them. So I am interested about what people know about my country and also want to introduce to others.

[INDENT] So Georgia is post soviet country. It’s capitol is called Tbilisi. Most of you don’t know much about this country but it has a very important role in history but I’ll just state most common things here. Georgia is Orthodox Christian country converted in 4th century. Georgia is also considered as motherland of wine, recent archaeological discoveries have shown that culture of wine making was already well-developed in 5th century B.C. since Georgia was always frontier of war against Muslim conquerors it had not much power do develop in science. also Georgia is one of 13(as I remember) countries with its own alphabet. Georgia was most strong in 12 century which was called gold era (or something like that). Georgia is also famous of it’s hospitality, in most of villages people will invite you to their house if they will see that you need it (don’t hope on that in City but people are hospital there as well).
Well as for todays state Country is in a pretty bad shape but this is matter of long debates.

I’ve heard of the country of Georgia and how some in the United States were mistaken when some sort of military action was happening in that country and they thought it was the US government that had cracked down on the state of Georgia and turned it into a police state.

well actually Russian army was in Georgian conflict zone and Georgia was waiting for nato’s decision. but when nato denied entry to Georgia Russians and Osetians opened fire Georgia was closing eye on that for 7 days and after several deaths we went on offense(actually they wanted us to attack so they would have reason for war, but Georgia attacked because they were moving tanks through tunnel of Rock and if we didn’t there wouldn’t be any chance of winning and it was btw) so after loosing, whole Georgian army went back to Tbilisi where we were preparing for final war and it would have been real massacre but Russia withdraw itself because they were forced by America and Europe.

have no idea. I live in Tbilisi far from coastline.

Georgia held most of Muslim conquerors from invading Europe through not all.
Georgia had never been in heresy (like Greece or Catholic churches) and held true to the original beliefs of Christianity.
Georgia survived Iran,Turks,Arabs,Persians,Russians,Kimerians,Mongolians and itself as well :smiley: also I want you to know that those were empires not petty kingdoms.

We have lots of them. Most famous is Khinkali:

it has sheep meat inside but sometimes it can be other meat or vegetables.

well there are LOT of monuments in Georgia but frankly I don’t know which is most well known for foreigners. but here are some of best of them: Cathedral of Trinity (Sameba), Narikala Citadel, Vardzia Monastery,Cathedral of Alaverdi, Cathedral of Sveticxoveli. those cathedrals except sameba are also citadels as well.

yes here are bears and two kinds first is one that hasn’t eaten meat, this is no a fierce one and mostly eats roots and honey end ect. another one is that has tasted blood. I have seen bear tore off mans leg once.
