While downloading I was wondering what was so special about the beta.

Then I saw the new menu and Workshop integration, and it started in a borderless window by default - which is great for Source since it’s usually a bitch to switch tasks with the engine.

Pretty nice stuff.

EDIT: And the steam workshop integration is just amazing

I’m liking the WIP mods already

And this is a long needed update, seeing as how this source iteration has way better multicore support. I can run so many more things at once smoothly now.

It’s cool that Valve allowed steam workshop in the new Gmod, it’s doing wonders for the game.

To be honest, this is the only (released) game where I’ll use steam workshop. Makes the game feel more complete.

Steam workshop integration sounds intriguing, though has there been mentioned about how they are going to crack down on lua virus’ and stuff that really screws up the game?
