When did we meet the 4th garg, i remember only 3 garg in half-life.

They’re in Power Up, Surface Tension, Interloper, and Nihilanth.

Nihilanth didn’t got one.

Try going through all the portals he sends at you, you might just find one.

If I remember correctly, it’s the fourth portal.

I remember using the Gluon for killing those guys. It kills them really fast.

I always killed the first two with traps, but the third and fourth I had fun destroying with the heavy weapons. I remember thinking “oh crap, now i have to stand and fight” when I didn’t see any traps for the third Garg.

And when they die, are they going to explode like in the original, or become a rag-doll? Cuz I think that would be awesome.

Umm, you do know that in Interloper the Garg can be killed with the stabbing plant things? Just sprint like hell out of the cave, and run up on top of the hill where the alien grunts were. The Garg appears incapable of climbing the slope, and will run back and forth endlessly, alll the time being whacked by the stabbing plants. Eventually it just explodes.

I never tried to actually kill it until that time, I usually run to the top of the hill, lure it away from the cave entrance and run like hell for it.

I also never realised there was a Garg in Nihilanth, probably because I never get teleported.

Whoa. Didn’t know that. Doesn’t sound like the developers planned it to work that way, though. Sounds too… messy.

I killed the Gonarch with those tentacles in the pit when at the end of the battle. I just hid behind the tentacles and killed the baby headcrabs with my crowbar and let them hammer away at him.

I can never get the Gonarch to move in the pit, let alone get close to the stabbing plants.

lol, when i playing that part, i always goes on panic.
