Gaming journalism at its finest

Just figured I’d post this here for anyone interested

Why is this a big deal? I seriously thought everyone did this.

It’s not, I just posted it if anyone was interested

It is a big deal (relative to how big a deal anything can really be in games media, of course), and I don’t give a fuck if every single games “journalist” does it. It’s horseshit and a total embarrassment.

It sucks for Wainwright that she got strung up for it when there are plenty of other equally worthy candidates, but everything she’s done so far in response has just shown how flat-out guilty she is.

Always fun to watch a shitstorm happen.

Hey if you give me 100$ OP I’ll write a praising review of your thread.

Sorry, wasn’t meaning that you thought it was there blood, I was taking about the article itself.

Yeah, big reviewers are often shills for the games they review. It has been blatantly obvious all over the place for a long time. Whatcha gonna do? It’s a big money business now. It happens. Thankfully, with all the small time and online reviewers, the truth isn’t hidden for long. Word gets out, and people find out if a game is shit quickly enough.

Bummed about a guy losing his job essentially for speaking honestly and calling people out. Shitty dude.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
