Gaming Habits!

yup I know but ppl starting to use it way often :stuck_out_tongue:

I meant, the term in general. As in real life. Aggro is a slang that existed way before any MMOG.

hmm interesting …

btw aggro means aggravating right ?

EDIT: This.

You forgot to type “this”.

A good, and bad, habit: Obvessive compulsive reloading after every burst of fire.

It’s good because it means your always fully stocked, bad because you can be in a fire fight, with enough ammo to take down the other guy…and he kills you after you subconsiously hit the reload button
.

reloading after every shot.

I’m a reloader too… sometimes after big battles where I used many weapons, I have to scroll through all of them and reload them… without moving an inch to make sure no other enemies will appear.

I check every place for secrets or other goodies and save often (if there is a quick save button) in singleplayer games.
I also hit the reload button after every hot situations, sometimes when I play CS: S and killed someone I start reloading but if the mag isn’t allmost empty I stop it by switching to knife and then back to the primary weapon.
And in CS 1.6 I switch guns when not in combat just because of the sound it makes

^ This

I’m also another person that feels the need to reload at every opportunity. The amount of times that’s ended up with me being killed…

Also: if there is an option for Subtitles in a game, I have to turn that option on despite normally being able to hear everything clearly.

I’m all of the above. Except I turn subtitles on because I usually can’t make out what the hell people are saying.

Which is big problem in Far Cry 2.

Mix bad voice acting, and those same voice actors trying to portray African accents and…you get lots of “Wtf did he just say?”

It’s a good game, but I can never tell what they’re trying to say.

Subtitles are very useful in Oblivion too, because most of the time voices are too far for you to hear them. And yes I put the voice volume to maximum.

I hate the original Half-Life for this… couldn’t hear shit… Had to turn up my speaker volume during conversations, and turn it down after if I didn’t want to become deaf after firing a glock shot.

Are you kidding?

FC2 has some of the best voice acting I have ever heard in a game.

The timing between characters talking is a bit off, but still the best effort by the actors I’ve heard in a game.

They just don’t sound like African accents to me. And I’ve heard an actual African speak before.

The Half-Life 2 voice acting is the best I’ve heard in any game.

lol ‘an actual African’. Just like an actual European.

You get my point, smartass.

1 African?

That’s like saying you’ve heard one English accent you’ve heard them all.

There are hundreds of different accents in Africa, and they did well to include so many in the game as well as the slang used by them as well.

It’s not what I meant, really. I’ve met a few people who were born and raised in Africa is all I meant. I never met someone who sounded like a person in Far Cry 2.
