Gaming Engine's

Meh, not a super innovative engine. Lots of those features aren’t such a big deal.

^Yup. A guy in a project I’m workin’ on made en engine with all these features (minus the super-advanced collision system) by himself.

Racing games are teh suck.

I like whatever engine Battlefield: Bad Company runs on. It doesn’t look fantastic but the levels are large, the buildings AND terrain are destructible and the damage doesn’t fade. I kid you not you can blast a crater with a grenade and then hide in it to pop out and shoot people (not effective, but still awesome that you can do it).

GTFO > :frowning:

I miss those games. I can’t believe there haven’t been any decent Mech games in years. Chrome hounds was all right, but just not nearly as awesome as Mechwarrior.

MechWarrior 2 was awesome. Someone is making a MechWarrior total conversion mod from Crysis. I haven’t followed it, but it would be cool if they did a good job.

On Vista? Do tell!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
