Games you would like to see a sequel for

Road Rash.

Commander Keen.

Super Mario Bros. 4

No 3D. No unnecessary storyline. No gimmicky bullshit.

Just one clear objective. A giant backlog of our favorite characters and abilities. And one or two more new mechanics as well integrated as the raccoon tail in 3.

45 hours of platforming bliss.

I would pay anything for that.

Albion, an RPG from 1996 (I think). It was truly epic.

Me and my sisters used to love playing this on the DS, but we always fought over who got to play next. Now, we all can enjoy it together!

Oh snap.

Actually there is a sequel coming, the only thing is, it’s a mod, but it does look good.

Hmmmmmmmm, is a sequel of an expansion a sequel or an expansion of the sequel of the original game?

brain…folding…in…on…itself…

Not really. It’s just a sequel of an expansion.

MindRover: The Europa Project. (a fun little bot programming game with many games/tasks to code for)

Sequel could use:

  • full-3D physics
  • better graphics
  • more objectives and levels
  • network-shared simulations
  • live player interaction and vehicle sharing over network
  • more unlockables like the boss-chassis one gets after beating every scenario

Codename: Eagle. (a SP & MP predecessor to the Battlefield series, set in an alternate-reality WWI)

Sequel could use:

  • fewer glitches
  • better graphics
  • more game modes
  • better vehicle physics
  • larger maps and more players
  • another engaging singleplayer campaign
  • less simplistic weapon physics/mechanics/controls
  • a couple new weapons and vehicles, but not too many
  • some technical features, like a fully-functional tessellated world

Some kind of sequel for Star Wars: Republic Commando.
Maybe it could be Imperial Commando.

Timesplitters

and

Beyond Good & Evil.

Funneh. Talking about Timesplitters 4.

Just saying there is a sequel, just not the one you want.

Heh, mostly because I already own it :3
One of my fav games too, actually.

HL2:EP2

so a sequel doesn’t necessarily have to have the number 2.

Well, I’m sure Timesplitters fans knows what I meant :3

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
