Games that you have bought twice

So I’m curious, what games have you guys had that you thought were so good that you bought them again > whether because something was wrong with yours, or you just liked it that much or a sale or something?

I bought Battlefield 2 again after PB banned me for no reason. That’s how much I loved that game.

Also bought JK and JO again because they were on sale with others.

If you haven’t bought any twice, is there any you’d consider buying again?

Fallout 3 and Call of Duty 4.

Both retail and Steam.

Borderlands
Fallout 3
Portal (Three times. Orange box on xbox, Still Alive version on XBLA, and PC in the valve complete pack)
Prey
Fable 3 (I wanted a smoother running pc version. I was disappointed.)
Dragon Age: Origins
Mass Effect 1 & 2

Bought them all on Xbox 360 then later repurchased them for pc once I built my computer.

i bought cs :s 2 times and hl2 once in single , once in xmas edition , once wit h ep1 and once in orangebox…

I bought the Orange Box on Xbox 360 then on PC.

I bought Half-Life four times, 3 retail, 1 Steam. The first one I got was GoTY and I gave it to my friend after I got it on Steam. Then I bought two more retail copies together for dirt cheap, boxes and everything (one was GoTY one was the original).

I also bought OP4 twice, once retail then again later on Steam.

I bought GTAIV 3 times, once for each console. Mirrors Edge twice. Orange Box twice. Bad Company 2 twice. Just because I had them on console but wanted them on PC.

Jurassic Park: The Game.
Purchased the Deluxe edition from Telltale and a discounted copy on steam because I can’t be arsed to go through Telltale’s Copy-protection protocols.
I will soon be purchasing a second copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for PC because I would love to experience all the mods that the skyrim modding community have made and I can’t experience them on Xbox 360 because I could get banned for that.

have both PC and XBLA versions of Portal (bought the XBLA version when it went on sale last week)
Also have both PC and XBLA versions of Duke Nukem 3D because it kicks that much ass.

Borderlands kinda. Got it for the 360 and it was gifted to me on steam… Well… no. Nvm. Didn’t get it twice.

The darkness, though. Bought it, beat it, returned it, missed it, bought it again.

Metroid Prime (Gamecube, Wii as part of “Metroid Prime: Collection”)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis, Xbox, Xbox 360 (The latter two as part of “Sonic Mega Collection” and “Ultimate Genesis Collection” respectively)

In my defense, at one point my Xbox 360 was so on-the-fritz that I thought I would have to rebuy most of my library for PS3, but thankfully a new power brick solved that problem. Many others were part of collections for major discounts from the original price. (For instance, the price of the “Burnout Collection” was only a couple bucks more to get a new copy of “Burnout Dominator” with the two other games in the collection, rather than merely getting a used disc.)

Console + PC
Bad Company 2
The Orange Box
Borderlands
Unreal Tournament 3

Console Only
Halo 3(so awesome that I had to buy a downloadable version)
Halo Reach(again needed downloadable version)
Borderlands(Very Good Game, PS3 + Xbox, also probably one of the only RPGs I can play multiple playthroughs of without getting bored.)
Mass Effect 2( I wanted to play the new DLC)
mabie Mass Effect 2 again… I am waiting for Downloadable Version.

I had the WON version of HL1 and I bought it on steam just to have it on steam.

You could have just registered your cd-key into Steam but oh well.

I have an extra WON copy of HL too and I can’t register the key, those asshats of the steam support don’t let me, they say someone else has it activated… shitheads

anyways, I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R. twice, bought it retail and a few years/months later there was that THQ complete pack which included it.

I’ve bought Half-Life series to my friend TWICE cause of som STEAM bullshit. I’ve bought Half-Life, Opposing Force, Blueshift 3 times…2 times as a gift…I had to buy HL2 and the episodes 3 times just to get Synergy mod workingbut it was worth it…Synergy COOP is working grate “SPELLING”

Counter-Strike Source and Half-life 2 4 times.
I’m still not sure why.

Half-Life since I had the WON version and Steam wouldn’t take the CD key.

Half-Life and Half-Life: Source
Half-Life 2 (Xbox) and Half-life 2 (PC)

Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo PC, and Halo: Combat Evolved: Anniversary
Halo 2, Halo 2 Vista

KotOR (Xbox) and KotOR (PC)

Counter-Strike: Source
Black Ops (PC, then 360)
IL-2 Sturmovik

I almost forgot I got 2 copies of Halo 1 and 2, but it was 2 copies of Halo PC (for MP) and 1 xbox and 1 PC halo 2 (which wasn’t too worth while)
