I don’t know who was playing lead guitar for this remix, but it isn’t as good as his other remixes (it’s off-beat and kind of clumsy, I play it better), but the music itself is still GODLIKE.
I loved Age of Mythology and Age of Empires 3’s soundtrack.
Also, the Doom 3 menu music and Iron Man’s starting track (Black Sabbath) are great too.

Also, most people have no idea how epic doom music really is. Sadly, today’s midi engines are nothing like they were on the Sound Blaster cards when Doom was released. For instance: in E1M8, the ‘disco’ sound wasn’t there, instead it was a guitar pluck.

Maybe it was just because I was a kid back then, but I will never forget this game and it’s music.
Sure it was a pretty standard platform shooter, but the music made it worthwhile.

The game with the best soundtrack for me has to be Chrono Cross. The game’s entire soundtrack is downright amazing.
Besides, it’s intro clip not only has the most epic track, but it’s also pretty much the best intro clip for any game ever (imo of course): Chrono Cross Intro.
