Uh no, because I seem to be more mature than that. Sorry to disappoint but you will have to use your own imagination. Just keep in mind that my thoughts are demoralizing and strip you of any dignity you have left for being so passionate for posting as you have in these forums.
Okay, was that so hard? Why not make that some sort of sticky? Wait, what am I suggesting? You would all simply laugh for your own reasons that only benefit yourselves. Like making yourselves seem better to some sort of forum full of people you will NEVER meet. Get over yourselves and realize that some of us don’t spend allot of time on a bunch of other forums.
Well, on a serious matter I was in the "armed forces" and not once was I told to "Google" what the drill segregant (and squad leader alike) meant in an acronym. They told me what the acronym was and made sure I understood what it meant. So your analogy fails.
Oblige my request? I indeed thought the opposite. It was just a good time to show people how selfish they were in thinking that their time was better spent using acronyms as opposed to words on the internet. I don’t take your sympathy seriously. The logic of time on these forums does not make any sense. You have ALL the time in the world to type something out.
I just find it amusing that some think it’s worth more of their time to bitch about using letters as opposed to words just to prove a worthless point which invalidates their point by posting a whole or-deal about how their acronyms matter when better time could have been to spent explaining what acronyms meant/are.
A sticky in EVERY forum could contain all the acronyms that flow through every thread. So that there is no excuse for a thread such as mine. Yes?
I have better things to do than pander and Google peoples “creative” ways of saying things the lazy way. America use to make me sick of lazy people now it encompass’s anyone who used the internet … Which … encompass’s the world. I’ts sad really …
How old are you Guzzi? You seem to be a bit on the veteran side, so I recommend you to be careful or you may break a bone or two in case you fall from your high horse.
Guzzi, I am not going to say much that people haven’t said already. I must ask however, how long does it take to google a simple acronym? Once you know the acronym, you don’t have to look it up again as you will hopefully remember it for a fairly long time. When people are talking about a game, if you can’t guess the acronym you probably don’t know what the game is, so if you are really interested in what they are talking about, look it up! It is no different if they said the full title and you didn’t regonize it, google is your friend.
He’s too much of a self-righteous cock to listen to reason, so he’d rather keep arguing with us that he’s right and that it is us who should bend to to his will.
Seems you didn’t quite grasp what I was trying to say. You can’t expect people to try and help you if you respond so negatively to every post on here that’s actually tried to help
There is no “drill segregant” around here to teach you, you can ask more politely or look it up. Nothing more to it
Hey Guzzi, how would you feel if when you were back in the army, some new guy came in and started nagging everyone to change all the military protocol, culture and procedures to something he thinks is better, even tho the previously established ones were perfect enough for everyone and were, in fact, part of everyone’s “muscle memory” and tradition?
That’s not the real issue here, the problem is that our friend there wants to change a world he doesn’t seem to understand just because he doesn’t feel like adapting to it.
My point was that almost none of the “acronyms” mentioned in this thread so far have not been true acronyms, they’ve been “initialisms”. Acronyms are WORDS formed from an abbreviation, like radar, NASA or ROFL. WTF, BMS and USA are initialisms, because you pronounce each letter individually.
