Let the wild speculation on release date begin

I hate haikus now
Gabe be trollin.
/thread
haikus are 5,7,5 syllables, Gabe wrote 5,7,6 that means ep3 is coming out in 1 day or 1 week or 1 year and so on…
Lol Gabe.
Well…that’s very interesting Gabe
I think he means May 2076.
Another funny way to say “When it’s done”. Cool story Gabe.
episode 3 ships in a special edition crate of some sort
Episode Three soon?
These hiku’s are just plain shit.
Gabe Newel, what the fuck.
There’s a ship in episode 3 everyone already knows that
I thought it was witty, so its a win in my book.
The fact people keep trying to get the release date is astounding… It’s nice to see Gabe just (t)rollin’ with it, though.
EDIT: Also, wasn’t the last thread like this shut down? I vote this one succumbs to a similar fate.
these are obviously the most important lines here; lets look at these two lines alittle closer…
-“rigid structure” could be referencing the trilogy or episodic fashion ep1 and ep2 were released as, which valve admits was a bad idea, possibly hinting episode 3 will be half life 3.
-the last line has 6 syllables, instead of the traditional 5. this could also be hinting that episode 3 will be half life 3; considering the last line breaks the tradition, as will ep3/hl3
-the last line also has a possible Borealis reference, but idk what to make of it.
-traditional haikus are suppose to have 17 syllables. with the last line being 6, both haikus total 35 syllables, or 7 and 8 respectively. idk what any of that could mean, just a mere observation.
so my guess is that episode 3 will be half life 3 with a new engine, and thats all The Gabe is saying. i got nothing on a release date outta this, though.
mankyman, i hope youre thoroughly astounded lol
Yes but…will it blend?
Oh! And he says “neato”! Its not an actual word! It adds an “o” at the end! Just like in Spanish words!!
I got it! Its an ARG!
If we count all the syllables and letters, we can figure out a way to put the numbers into some kind of japanese math equation. From there, we can take the number(s) of the results, and turn them into a bible verse. We’ll need to get a Spanish version of the bible. Whatever bible verse it points to will say some significant word. Possibly the 37th word in the text. Then we can search that word, figure out what it means, and it will give us a url!
Gabe was just fucking around. He’s not trying to “hint” anything.
DIE HTE!
wat
You are feeding the trolls… I mean Gabe D:
don’ feed Gabe… you know why
