Fuckin' crap. FUCK YOU ZUNE!

[COLOR=‘Green’][PROBLEM SOLVED]

So I told you guys I bought a Zune in the “Pimp your…” thread. Turns out it doesn’t work at all.

It doesn’t charge, or if it does very slowly, it now makes 2 hours it’s charging and I doesn’t even start up. I see a charging sign (the little battery), but it is very pale.

Also, Vista won’t install the drivers. When I plug it I don’t get a little sound that indicates it found a new hardware. And sometimes it shows in the device manager, sometimes it doesn’t. And when it does it just says that installing the drivers failed.

I’m gonna go to where I bought it to see if they can get me a new sync cable.

Edit: They’re not open, but the dude told me to come back tomorrow so he’ll check this out.

Someone is raging right now . . .

In all seriousness, and not in rage-fueled opinion, does the Zune really suck that much?

I got a couple of friends who have one and I must say that when it’s workin’ it’s pretty good. Better than an Ipod IMO.

Looks like you got a lemon. You should exchange it.

For more lemons.

Hopefully no.

Sounds like a 360: Better than other consoles when it doesn’t have RROD.

Well I got a pretty rare issue. So rare I couldn’t find other peoples who the two same problems as me.

Maybe it’s not an issue, maybe it’s just how they are.

Ever thought of that?

I thought about that, but I know too much people who got one and does not have problems to know it’s not that.

If you didn’t cause this then they should be willing to repair it.

also if your problem is the charging issue

I’m assuming you bought it brand new, right?

Well the dude at the shop is gonna replace it.

That’s the first thing I tried.

@CTID : Yup, brand new.

That’s really odd…I myself got a 2 GB iPod Nano from a friend who’d had it for a couple years and was getting a new one.

I haven’t had any problems with it, except for the fact that it’s 2 GB, and my iTunes library is 28.

It’s sad when you barely exceed the limits of your music player. When I was approaching 30 gb, I started deleting tons of my music so it’d all fit on my ipod.

:frowning:

So I got it runnin’ on my dad’s comp (XP Home) and it updated itself to the latest firmware, and it’s charging now. Or well it’s supposed to. We’ll see in an hour. If it’s charged I’m gonna try it in my comp.

If it’s not I’m gonna ask for another cable.

Er…there’s a 26 GB difference between 2 and 28. Not what I’d call “barely exceeding.”

IMMA CHARGIN MAH FLASHPLAYAR

So when it’ll be fully charged I’ll try it in my comp.
