Freeman's mind using BM.

that’s assuming its out at that time

Don’t see why he should. He would be using the SAME dialogue as Half-Life: Source just with him commenting on how much prettier it is.

Oh, and what Petrol under me said.

Part of the humor of Freeman’s Mind is all the things that don’t make sense around him: the box-smashing room, the scientists standing around trip mines talking about who ate all the donuts, how a lot of the scientists have the same hair, ect. If one of the goals of Black Mesa is to make the levels make sense, then that would take out much of the humor.

Wow, I never thought about that. I agree.

Old, dicussed to death and a bad idea.

As cool as it would be I must agree with this^.

I believe that Ross Scott has actually said that if Black Mesa releases before he’s done with the Freeman’s Mind then he would switch to using BM. An idea place being after Freeman is knocked out in Apprehension.

EDIT: Just realised that Cobra has said as much a few posts above but didn’t really credit the quotes to Scott.

In MY mind… I’m already playing Black Mesa.

^ this

After the blackout, it’s mostly views instead of unlogicalness.

that would be there in BM anyway, and besides, he’s already passed those parts.

I think it’s a great idea. Mainly because after the blackout, it starts to make much more sense IMO. Well, except the ladders at Surface Tension, because who the fuck would go up there anyways?

If BM had been released earlier then another good transition would have been when he was standing by all the toxic waste before Power Up. He could have made a joke about how the radiation was messing with his eyes.

I guess if BM will be released, Ross may make one episode with it, just like the pirate and alternative one.

BM is gonna be released by the time he goes to Xen.

Hehehheh… :retard:

:expressionless:

I think its a wonderful idea. He switched to source somewhere after the box smashing room, why not make another upgrade?

He was using Source the whole time

fix’d

In source the box smashing room boxes moved.

OMFG MOVING BOXES

And watch that episode again and you’ll see that when he jumps on the boxes they move.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
