Fratricide Ach, What does it mean?

WARNING CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM PORTAL

The picture kinda explains it all. The first time I read it, I was like :’(:fffuuu::fffuuu:

haha, that’s a good idea actually

also, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fratricide

always wiki

But you got to see, that it kinda makes sense. all this time, you were carying a DEAD PERSON in a cube, and then u incinerated him.

indeed, that why i said that it is a good idea. it makes perfect sense.

Holly banana fuck! That idea creeped me out

Ah, this thing. I didn’t see the comic before, but I heard about the theory a few days ago.

I’d never thought about that before… now I’m Kinda Creeped out.

I doubt it… It does not scare me.
After all I am a MAN!

:frowning:

this kinda makes you think “wtf did valve smoke when they made this game?” lol

Wouldn’t the injured test subjects be banging on the cube, yelling let me out and shit? Cuz if I was encased in a cube without my permission, that’s what I’d do.

Keep in mind, the achievement’s name wasn’t meant to be taken so literally.
It’s more because you’re supposed to become attached to the companion cube, as if it were a sibling.
(Sorry to ruin your theory :frowning: )

It doesn’t really ruin it, it just provides an alternate explanation.

It is a good idea, messed up but makes sense.

I never thought of that, it fits well though.

The theory might be sound, but the comic isn’t. Why would she conclude, that tossing a dead body into an incinerator would be murder? You can’t murder a dead body. It’s frigging dead already.

Sure they mention about the possibility of there being a badly wounded person in the cube, but if you’d mean that you shouldn’t say “carrying a dead body around the entire time

eh, women.

wouldnt it be easier to just incinerate the body in the first place, and not go through all the trouble to load it into a cube.
besides, anthropomorphizing an inanimate object is what some people do when they’re extremely lonely or steadily going crazy in the face of certain doom. Like Wilson the volleyball

Wilsooooon! I cried when wilson died… Wait. Holy Shit!

It’s Aperture Science. It doesn’t have to make sense.
