So for a school project I am currently building a mineral oil-cooled computer. So before I bath it into the oil, I want to make temperature tests with no cooling, so I can compare the results. So I thought it would be a good idea to run both Fraps and EVGA’s precision tools at the same time, but Fraps doesn’t seem to record anything but the game I’m playing (Halo: CE).
Is there a way to make Fraps record overlays too?
You need a screen recorder with an option like “Grab transparent windows” or something.

edit: I found CamStudio that records them. The quality isn’t super great, but atleast I got what I want.
https://www.deskshare.com/video-screen-capture.aspx does the job perfectly for me. i use it for demos on excel/access/word/databases etc. perfect for short clips and can capture regions or full screen.
