I have eben making map for quite some time, GM_snowcastle, and recently finished it, but when I attempted to take some screenies in gmod with fraps no fps counter showed up and no screenshots appeared in the screenshots folder. i have also tried Gmod’s built in picture tool but it only produces black screenshots. I pirated the latest Fraps and installed and still didn’t get anywhaere, suggestions?
Have you checked to see what location it saves the screenshots,and what key you have to press?
It really isn’t a complicated program, and theres a button to show or hide the fps counter.

You checked in C:\Fraps or wherever you installed fraps, right?
Tell you what.
- Download it.
- Go to the location you installed it too.
- Double click the .exe there
- Then click the tray icon it shows.
- In here, you can alter the keys you press to take screnshots/video/benchmarks/overlay, and the location it saves the stuff too.
- If you have anything like Flock on your keyboard, make sure that’s off.
