Hamilton will try anything to win, which makes him such an entertaining driver to watch. Win some, lose some, at least he never settles for a safe finish.

Severely disappointed by the last safety car though, Vettel was 3 laps from falling off the cliff in terms of grip, and Alonso would have got him for it. Shame, but Monaco is a shit circuit

Edit: Spectacular move on Schumacher by Hamilton at the beginning though, one hell of a pass

Double edit: And Petrov is OK too, which is good to hear

Race has started and is not over, you are not in the pits… why the hell would you be allowed to change tyres?

Agreed, I never knew they were allowed to do that. Only way they were ever going to change Hamilton’s rear wing though

Its just stupid, no changes to rear wing or suspension in the pits, yet they can do when if the race is red flagged.

The rear wing is just too hard to change in the pits, I don’t think it’s against the rules. They have to put it in the garage to do it

No, i’m pretty sure its a rule. No change to suspension or rear wing during a race. Part of the Parc fermé rule.

Also I haven’t voted in the poll yet; they’re banning the blown diffuser (ish) for Silverstone, so I’m not sure how the season’s going to turn out. A televisual feast, for sure

I reckon the rules will change; in 15 years of watching I’ve never known the current red flag rules to have an impact on the outcome of a race. Maybe now will be the first time the issue has been raised. Probably one for next season though :stuck_out_tongue:

Stop bitching about that fucking red flag, it’s the race, period. Everybody changed their tires and even Hamilton could fix his rear spoiler.
Button just gave up and accepted his 2nd place, only Webber got the balls to overtake Kobayashi in those last laps.
