I recently downloaded the Operation Flashpoint 2 demo from steam.
I launched it and it gives me the ‘preparing to launch…’ window and then nothing happens.
I have tried reinstalling it. I am on Windows 7.
Does anyone know a solution?

Compatibility mode is unnecessary. I have the game, beat it in Windows 7.
Check integrity of the local game cache, defrag the files, try again.
run in admin mode, so it can make the first time installation
I have tried all of these things, nothing worked.
Delete clientregistry.blob (I think that’s the name of the file).
Also, check out here, see if anything is relevant.

Also, launch the game, and check your processes to see if it is running, or what happens.
