First Look at Counter-Strike Global Offensive

How about zombies? Hopefully they include it as a gamemode

CS1.6 Zombie Mod > CSS Zombie Mod > ?CSGo Zombie Mod?

The game is not even out yet, and people call it a piece of shit. Damn, reminds me of Dota 2, where people watched 10 minutes of gameplay and called it a stupid game with bad graphics.

Valve still have more than 4-6 months + Valve time to work on it. Let’s wait and see how it will turn out.

CSO Zombie mode > all

Kinda funny how some ppl complain about the graphics… I would still have way more fun playing it with these graphics than CoD.

By the way, who again complained about that Valve doesn’t change the engine? If I remember right CoD games use the same engine since CoD 2 with some tweaks here and there.

I would play HL: DM over COD anyday

I have two things to say.

  1. Fuck Yeah (accompanied by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di78663fCUU)

and

  1. Go fuck yourself

You figure which one addresses what (and who).

Meh, that is said about any game. Doesn’t suprise me anymore.

-snip-

This is not the thread I thought I was in. Not that thread at all.

Except Valve actually bothers to put noticeable improved graphical features in.

No kidding. Compare Portal 2 to any source game that came out before it.

Get out of here with your ‘logic’ and ‘voice of reason’ and ‘brain cells’.
We don’t want none o’ that smophisticated shit in here!

If you don’t like the game and you have a spare key, I’d like to try it

True, but for a lot of people, CS died after repetively playing CSS for a long time, and for some others CS died with the original CS.

What the new game so far has introduced is the most upto date Source Engine, 2 New Maps, and Maps used in other Source powered games and slightly altered arsenal.

The biggest difference is the new gamemodes, though you could argue those modes could of been patched into CSS

The new modes is practically the Gun Game mod. One, Arms Race, is just plain out Gun Game and the other one, Demolition, a variant of Gun Game with a twist, and this twist is called a bomb.

Then there’s classic casual and Classic Competitive. The biggest different between these two is that casual have no FF or team collision, allows the Taser and you can’t buy kevlar or defusal kit(who’s decision was this anyway?). I can understand the removal of FF and Team collision, but why defusal kits?

They didn’t remove them, you simply always start with them.

Ah, OK. I never started a casual since those lines is in the description. So they practically made them work like the ammo. It reminds me of when I started playing CSS on PC, I had only played CS on XBOX before, and was confused to how to buy ammo.

What the fucking necropost.

GO is definitely starting to get good. They’ve got a lot more work though. They keep saying it’ll be out this summer, but even for Valve that’s way too optimistic a deadline.

Now that the feel of the game is getting close to being right, they still need to redo all the animations, sounds, and a lot of the visuals. There are levels in this beta that are textured so poorly, I’d be embarrassed to see them in a mod, let alone a genuine Valve game. I don’t see them fixing all that by August.

They should have said late fall + Valve time.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
