Guys! Tell me which Pokémon game is your favourite and why 
Heart Gold I was a kid when I met the 2nd generation for the first time, it’s so great to see it ultimately improved, brings back good memories
Crystal as #1. I played that game so much as a kid… I loved how they had kanto in there as well. Made for lots more gameplay than many of the other games had.
Fire Red. That one was just fantastic.

Gold.
It was the first one I owned, and I felt the games became a lot sillier after generation two.
Gold and Silver. Those were the first ones I owned <3
Yellow.
Emerald. It’s what got me into Pokemon.
Blue/Gold/Sapphire. Blue was simply amazing at the time and couldn’t stop playing it. Finding glithes (Missigno 
) was really cool. Gold followed the same formula with success and then Sapphire jumped in to the Game Boy Advance and the improvements they made to the colour and the world was really cool. Also those three games brought a new map and new pokemons. After that I stopped caring so much for the games. I think that the games that were released after that third stage was simply recycling some material (I know that it is Pokemon and that there is some kind of recycling every game) and somehow I’ve lost the interest (even on the remakes).

Red/Blue and Gold/Silver. I fell out of the Pokemon trend after playing those games.
Ah good old pokémon (heart). Got back to playing pokémon on my old gameboy 2 days ago because of a power outage in a cozy thunderstorm. I have to say you all seem like little kids coming into the world after gold/silver (still the “new” games for me though it has been a while sine 2000 
). That said best is still the first 3(not counting green) blue/red/yellow own them all or at least with my sister. Gold and silver were nice too but I never learnt all the new pokémon and never accepted them as true pokémon.
Damn kids with your GB advanced’s and 3rd gen pokémon’s! makes me feel old.:’(
Been playing leaf green(blue remake) on an emulator too and its actually quite good, music is a bit disappointing but otherwise all great so far.

The card game, with the really skeezy rules that disregards power cards and has you use either a die or a coin to determine whether you hit or miss.
Rubine/sapphire/emerald as the design of some of the pokemon were fucking awesome.
Currently I love Black version 1, as Game Freak finally tries to make some things different. I think my all time favorite ones are still Gold and silver + the remakes.
Pikachu’s Anal Adventure
Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire. Emerald was my first but I liked them all. I have a thing for tropical places so the atmosphere really made the game special for me. Hope Gamefreak remakes those games.
B/W were pretty nice too. And so were all of the Johto games. While I liked R/B/Y, they really don’t stand out much compared to the rest of the series. Kanto was a very bland region and didn’t really make for much gameplay once you beat it.
And Black and White 2 seem to be really nice too. The thing that I’m really stuck on is the world tournament. Not only do you get to battle the old gym leaders/champions but you also get their cool music like this and this. And this song that’s the background music for one of the gyms is… interesting.
