Favorite TF2 Class

I don’t really know why I have the urge to make this thread, but oh well. Pretty self explanatory, just don’t post your favorite to play, but the one you find is the most badass, funny, etc. My favorite is the Scout. Some of the greatest quotes in video game history.

Playing style: Heavy.
Weapons: Pyro.
Lines: Spy
Most like someone I know: Engineer.
They’re all awsome, though, so It’s impossible to choose an ultimate favorite.

Engineer or Spy, both for offense.
Engineer if defense is critical. :jizz:

I can relate to the Scout. He’s my favorite personally, but I don’t play him that much. My most played class is the Soldier. He’s funny with his lil’ quips and let’s face it; that rocket launcher kicks ass. I also favor the Demoman.

Pyro is really the only class I play. After over a year of pyromania, I actually play more like a spy with sneaking around and setting up ambushes. I usually have Default Flamethrower, the Flare gun, and the Fire ax equipped because most people I ax aren’t on fire, and I’ve gotten plenty of kills vs. Soldiers, Sentries, and Demomen with my airblast.

I’m shit at it, but I love a good spy. When you’re chasing one up some stairs, having him jump backwards over your head, and backstab you. God, it’s frustrating, but much respect.

Pyro, or when we already have 6 pyros, Sniper. Probably the 2 most skill debatable classes. Flamethrower for air blast, but never seem to need it untill I start using the Backburner. When the situation demands it, soldier and very rarely scout/heavy.

Scout all the way, me and another scout won a game in 7 seconds before  i cant remember what happened, it started and he ran through this fast shortcut and i just decided to follow his footsteps and we won, i got 2 achievements at once for it also.

I play mostly Medic and Pyro.

I always choose Pyro. With the incendiary cannon and napalm gre-… …aww, crap.

As far as the “Meet the…” videos go, every class seems to fill an existing archetype or stereotype.
In order of class number,

  • Overconfident American
  • Australian Poacher
  • “All-American” Soldier
  • Captured German Doctor who probably worked at a concentration camp
  • Gigantic Russian
  • French Provocateur
  • Technophile

So, there are two classes that can’t be easily classified. The Demoman seems to be a bizarre collection of minority and misfortune, so he could be classified as being the typical oddity (his role being that he has no role).

But then there’s the Pyro. Anonymous, highly non-verbal, and a man with simple goals who enjoys the finer things in life (like burning people and things). He’s not quite a connoisseur, nor is he a romantic. He simply is. To quote Alfred, “Some men just want to watch the world burn,” and there is not yet a word to describe that exact kind of man.

The beauty is that we’ll never know more about him. That is where the fear propagates. The thought of being burned alive by someone whose flesh you’ll never see, whose identity you’ll never know? It’s terrifying. It’s the same art by which submariners were able to terrify surface captains.

Only one word may describe an aspect of the Pyro, and that word is loner.
As the bulk of single-player shooters have inspired us to do, we admire the loner.

Aside from that aspect, he is unique.
I can respect that combination of traits.

Pyromaniac.

Engineer is my favorite on a personal level, with the sniper in a close second, but I generally only do subpar when I play as them. Maybe Pyro or Heavy are my best classes.

Look at my playtime, they’re horribly unblalanced, 5 times more soldier than any other class :expressionless:

^This. I play soldier, but all the characters are sparkling

.

TF2. But good choice anyway.

Recently I’ve taken a great liking to the Soldier and the Demoman. Last week I racked up 11 kills as the Soldier (Godlike), although hlstats was being wonky or something so it didn’t get recorded and I have no proof. :expressionless:

Yeah, Demoman and Soldier are quickly reaching the top of my “Most Time Played” list.

Scout is my favorite class, with force-a-nature. He’s also my most played class, also Pyro and Spy as second and third.

I like to play Heavy and Engy, but just because they’re simple to play.

Sniper. Nothing is more satisfying than a single shot to the head, killing your enemy instantly. Plus, I’ve always loved Sniper-Weapons
