So, I’ve had an urge to replay Chrono Trigger, again… so I torrented a SNES Emulator, turns out It came with 750 + games :expressionless:

So, I’m making a list of playworthy SNES games to play when i’m bored, 'Cause just searching through the game list if frightening!

anyway, I thought it’ll be a cool idea to make a thread where everyone can list their favorite SNES games!

here are some of mine:

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past
Earthworm Jim
Megaman (can’t remember which it was >< )
Adventure Island
Earthbound
and ofcourse my all-time favorite, Chrono Trigger!

I’m just gonna list a few, even though you’ve already said some of them, these are my favs.

Super Mario World
Final Fantasy II (4 in Japan and the GBA/PSX/etc rereleases)
Final Fantasy III (6 in Japan and in rereleases)
Link To The Past
Chrono Trigger

I can’t remember any other SNES games that I kept going back to over and over other than those.

I find searching through packaged collections of ROMs to be quite fun. You never know what you’ll get. From shovel ware to the greatest of the great, platformers to porn games. You never know what you’ll find.

I can’t believe I forgot to say Secret of Mana earlier.

Secret of Mana is definitely on my list of must play SNES games.

I must warn you- stay well away from the Strike Series ports to the SNES. They are of extremely inferior quality in comparison to the Genesis originals. Framerate takes a hit and the music isn’t as good.

Even if you never plan on playing it, just for shits’n’giggles, watch the opening. if you thought the opening dialogue in Metroid was awesome, Tales of Phantasia sports a fully voiced introduction. Suck on THAT Playstation!
