What do you mean didn’t show his full potential? He did exactly what he needed to do, which was to make ambient tracks and enhance the mood. It worked. The world of quake still feels more foreboding and barren than any current game that tries to do that, and it’s his music that lets it happen.

Halo: the whole series, ODST being on top music wise.
