Infamous for me has the most unique soundtrack,
During the making of infamous the sound engineers went to dumps and started rattling on different stuff, and the outcome was a very unique, yet appropriate soundtrack.

Portal 2 is probably my favorite. I love fucked up, avant-garde electronic music and it’s one of the few game soundtracks that I actually listen to outside the context of the game.

The guy who did the Mass Effect games is also doing the soundtrack for Red Orchestra 2 so hopefully that will be equally as awesome.

Personally, I am quite partial to the Terrans’ theme music on both Starcraft games. I love the way they manage to depict a bluesy western-space theme. For the most part, I like Starcraft 1’s terran music better than SC2’s, although when I heard the Starcraft 2 theme for the first time, it took me right back to the first game but then promptly jacked up the epicness.

I think this one perfectly captures the western-bluesy atmosphere and gives a sense of desolation, then cautious hope, and then springs into action to get the player going in the level.
