i think the super grav gun is really cool. but there is not a single weapon i dont like in the half life series.
Well I like all the weapons in HL1.They all had a certain use and all unique,True Fact.
For Half Life 2,ehh… CrossBow.
HL2Beta,AK-47 and OICW
Opposing Force,Deagle and M249

Gluon gun: the sudden feeling of invincibility when using it for the first time
Spore launcher: it’s crazy but I love it
The only weapon I don’t like are the tripmines, I just never found enough use for them

From Opposing Force, I love that heavy machine gun, I don’t know what it’s called, but it sure was heavy. The sniper rifle was awesome too!
Oh and the crossbow from HL2 (not the HL1 one, that sucked), instant kill and I love pinning the combine to walls.

the gluon gun was amazing… but it was an ammo drainer. other than that it was incredibly cool.

Half life is my Favorite game, I play this game on my own server with my college friends. There are lots of weapon in Half life like Crowbar, 9mm Pistol, Colt .357, Crossbow, Rocket Propelled Grenade Launcher (RPG), : Tau / Gauss Cannon, Gluon Gun, Snark etc. but my favorite weapon is Gluon Gun, this weapon has 4 category, it has nice range, capacity is Ammo reserve of 100 units, Primary attack is Continuous beam, 14 pts/uranium ammo unit.

Half life 1:magnum
Half life 2:Zero point gravity gun (organic) (Just like the creator of this thread says it fun as hell!!)
Blue shift:Smg (Fun putting the grunts out of their hate)
Op4:Sniper Eh i just have to pick 1 more And the Displacer (Its fun teleporting your self and blowing up Stuff like scientists and grunts with it 
)
Hl2 beta:Hop wire The Flame thrower (You get it from the Cremator 2nd best hl2 beta enemy)!

I know this ^ fag is rezzing old threads but I have to say the MP5 is the best HL1 gun, (we’re only talking about HL1 right?) because it’s the mid range weapon, and when I say mid range I mean it’s one of those weapons that you could survive with for almost the whole game, kind of like Quake’s Double Barrelled Shotgun.

Yeah, Half-Life’s pistol was just too good! And then Half-Life 2’s pistol sucked more than nessesary.
I always either over use or completely under use the shotgun.
In Gmod I always say: “CROWBAR!” or “I just went Gordon Freeman on your ass!”
Confession time; I love impulse 101 'nade spamming with the M4 carbine! I’ve already played through all the games ‘properly’, so now I like to just dip into the games every now and then and have some fun!

i agree, i love impulse 101 i mostly fuck about with that on, i do love playing the original version so much better, sierra files install straight from disk, steam wasnt in use back then.
all from my generation pack my mate borrowed and i never got back
so i borrowed my mates newer bundle back and copied the game keys to get them for free linked to my Steam account yay
Tripmines are great for the black ops, run through an area of them, throw some suckers down the corridor behind you, laugh as they run around to shoot you and DIE AN EXPLOSIVE DEATH!
Crowbar… Nothing like painting the wall with the brains of a soldier with a piece of heavy metal.
