Favorite Game Villain

You also destroyed Megaton in Fallout 3 right?

I has no fallout 3 but I’ve seen it by youtube. I would try to destroy it but he’s always useful not useless :awesome:

General Leang. she had US, China, and terrorist weapons!!

Dr. Robotnik.

Unlike many evil villains who send their worthless henchmen first, Robotnik gets right up in your face as soon as he can; ie, every 2nd stage, you’ll end up fighting him personally. And he has a cult following on YouTube (derivative of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon)

PINGAS

Me, in Knights of the Old Republic

I’d say Jyrch Shephard, my renegade character from the first Mass Effect. However, the choices Bioware provided me with made Jyrch little more than…well, a jerk.

Haven’t played Mass Effect 2 yet, so I have no idea if this constriction is present there.

Darth Nihilus in kotor 2 was also a… good sith lord to fight against.

Why everytime I think in Darth Nihilus I also think with Nihilanth?

Any of my characters from fable, or maybe jack of blades, to bad he was so easy to beat.

Alma from FEAR. Never felt empathy for a villain quite like I did for her.

Don’t know if she can be classed as a villain though. More like a force of nature.

Also, just wanted to throw it out there. Gordon Freeman is pretty villainous himself.

He started the resonance cascade;

Created portals to another world;

Blew up BM, possibly the only place on earth to stop the portals;

Inadvertantly caused the invasion of earth by a different species. Twice.

Xenophobically killed as many non-humans as he possible could;

Blew up a city, with most of the people still inside (you can’t evacuate a city with that little notice);

And caused as much damage as he possibly could to anything and everything.

Anyone else agree? He has quite the résumé of villainy.

The G-Man blew up BM. Plus it was all an accident. Right?

I have some issues with that.

  1. If Gordon went into the test chamber and just stood around saying “No. I refuse. Something bad might happen if we beam-itize this crystal” then they would just fire Gordon and get someone else to do it.
  2. The portals already existed for some time, that’s why you see that tech in the lambda labs.
  3. Gordon didn’t blow up BM; that was the military, via nuclear bomb.
  4. Gordon wasn’t around when the Combine showed up.
  5. Gordon’s goal when he entered Xen was killing the Nihilanth, the controller of all the vortigaunts. When he did that, the vortigaunts forgave him for the guards he killed, and helped the humans; overall, a very beneficial action.
  6. You don’t know that Episode 1 began immediately after HL2. When you talk to Eli at the first control panel, he eagerly asks whether Alyx is out of the city yet. When Alyx says that she’s still at the citadel, he is shocked - the implication being that the core has been heading towards a collapse for quite some time, and Alyx has only stayed around because of mid-stasis with the vortigaunts, and to look for Gordon with D0G. Thus, because of the time delay, it’s quite possible many people got out. Gordon managed to get from the very center to a safe range even with lots of dilly-dallying, objective-accomplishing, and being pursued by the entire Combine army (something most citizens didn’t have to worry about; besides which, most were already geared-up and outside for the rebellion at the point when the citadel’s smaller explosion went off)

But, despite that little truism… +1 to everything Katana just said. :freeman:

did anyone say hitler haha. hitler

“he’s got the speed of a cheetah in it’s prime, apparently he ain’t running on VALVe time…” That song was just awesome…

I know, I could probably argue with most of the points I made myself, but characters are much more fun with a bit of evil than they are all good. :slight_smile:

C&C is nice and all (except the most recent one), but is there a reason why you keep posting different people when you already established your favorite is Yuri? :brow:

(Yuri was cool but… weird, by the way :|)

well, cant i have more than 1 favorite?
