Fallout: Nuka Break - Really good fan-made film

I understand the words you say but that just didn’t make sense to me

I am incapable of proper thought at the moment but what I am trying to say here is that because it’s a film based off another intellectual property, taking any little steps away from that somehow makes it bad (according to the target audience). They were repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot by basing it on half life, and then not sticking with the source material.

It’s not just that they didn’t stick to the source meterial, they left something that is a key element of half life out.
I mean combine with samurai swords…it’s farfetched but maybe there are special units, that would’ve been ok.
However headcrabless zombies just does not fir into the half life universe at all. 1. How are they zombies 2. does this mean headcrabs don’t exist 3. Did I mention there’s no headcrabs on those zombies?

You can turn a fan movie of something into your own storyline and change some things or add others but missing out something as vital as having headcrabs on zombies is a huge mistake.

Everything you said after that was your gripes with them not sticking to source material. Not saying you’re wrong, I agree with you.

I realised that half way through writing it by that time it was too late to turn back. I had released the kraken :hmph:

Nice work, man!

I C WUT U DID THAR

also i agree this was better than BBM, because i actually enjoyed the characters,
I think if BBM had made me feel anything for adrian shepard or that fat chinese guy (like escape from city 17 did) then with the post production it would have been awesome-cakes but a shame that it was so bad :frowning:

also i have to agree…

I watched a few minutes. OMG THAT CHICK IS HOOOOT!

Awesome stuff and one of the best fan-made film. Hope its gonna continue.

Sweet, looks like Russ Fischer at /film got my email and ran a story on it. Nice to see it get some exposure.

is it me or does that girl shake dat ass on purpose?

No, she was accidently recorded during the filming.
