Oh jeez… Download already fails six times (3 of them by the ISP failures). Now this site looks like fake for me.

As far as I know they are not planning a retail launch until 2012.(Can’t remember the source for that fact sadly) I can’t say I have been following this game too much but I have read the occasional news article so I am suprised they have started any kind of Beta (or Alpha) at this point.
My guess is they are just trying to drum up some intrest before a beta launch later this year maybe? Anyway I have submitted a beta request hopefully it will come along sooner rather than later.

I mean the viral site clearly directs you to the Interplay forums soooo yeah Interplay is making it and always has been making it, Bethesda was never developing the MMO.

Bethesda owns the intellectual rights to the Fallout name, but Interplay is still making the game.
I hope Bethesda is working on TES 5.

I’d want a TES5, but the original fallout games are awesome, and have awesome animations; something all Bethesda games lack and therefore it’s better than TES. :3
