Eric, my unofficial name, Fong, in real life, I called Foong.
It’s the plural of Spycrab, but leetified. It represents my good natured and silly personality.
I don’t remember why I chose Imonfire in the first place, but now I choose it everytime I can.

I was watching TV when my brother walked through the room during a commercial break. I made a rude comment about a woman in the commercial, and he called me a pig. I agreed with him and tried to make a pig noise to emphasize the point, but it came out sounding more like a goat noise.
Then when I tired to take Goat Pig as a screen name somewhere, it was already taken… Still shocked about that. But wait! I’m not just a goat pig, or the Goat Pig. I’m Thee Goat Pig! The one and only true Goat Pig! And I like the old English sound of it 
I killed a guy, I checked his wallet, it turned out his name was Keresh so I decided to use it on the forums. He’s not gonna use it anymore anyway.

I wanted something that was a bit “mad”, and mental seemed to fit the bill back in the day (when I was a lot more literal apparently). I decided this around 98/99 when putting 2k on the end of everything was the done thing. And it has stuck with me ever since. (Can’t believe I’ve used this name for nearly 12 years).

Marb is apparently the best abbreviation for Marlboro Man - at least according to my old CB friends from years ago. Most people pronounce it “Mar-bur-ull” or “Mar-bro,” so I can understand why they called me that. It just sort of stayed with me… can’t say the same thing for CBs, though.
BTW, does anyone besides truckers still use CBs? Do truckers even use CBs anymore???
