What are your thoughts on the subject? Should murderers all be executed, or should they just be locked up for the rest of their natural lives? My personal opinion is that murderers, pedophiles and rapists should all be executed, the last two being neutered without anesthesia first. Also, if you believe it is a circumstantial thing, how horrible does the crime have to be for you to think it warrants the death penalty?
I support life imprisonment. As far as I’m aware it’s less expensive, but the life quality they give these guys is ridiculous. I say either lock them up in a cell 24/7, no bed; they can sleep on the ground, three meals a day; just enough to keep them alive. Or put everyone on an island like Escape From New York.
But even if you have execution I don’t think it should be some stupid lethal injection. Hanging, firing squad, etc. And they shouldn’t stay in jail for years at a time either. Just do it right then and there.
Life in prison
michigan has never executed anyone since statehood, we were the first english speaking government to abolish it in 1846, and it’s constitutionally prohibited here. 
that being said, i don’t support it. death is a quick, easy, painless way to get out of your crimes and to not have to live with the guilt due to the suffering you’ve caused others. and even if you’re a complete fucking sociopath, never seeing the sun again or having any personal freedoms is a good punishment for what you’ve done.
i think it depends on your views of the afterlife, people who believe hell exists may be more willing to have the death penalty than someone like myself who doesn’t believe in any form of afterlife.
And then there are taxpayers.

As FP pointed out it’s much less expensive for life imprisonment. And my ideal system would wipe out all the luxuries the death row inmates get anyway.

Most murderers don’t really give a damn about the people they killed and they never feel any guilt for it. How is life in prison going to affect someone who doesn’t even care?
Say, how many murderers that haven’t changed in prison at all do you personally know? Are they a representative number among the totality of your country’s inmates? If so:

Life imprisonment but if someone kills/rapes a person the criminal should be sent to a bad conditioned prison. I mean really bad. BAAAD!

I’d say life inprisonment is a huge bullshit. Just think about it, a man/woman murders/rapes a child or woman, he/she get’s in prison for life, but in prison, she stays in a warm place, she still gets food, education and can attend on different activities. From what?! From the money of those people, whos child/wife got murdered and raped.
“an eye for an eye” is what I say, One who commited a murder, should be murdered too.
