well is just that… She doesn’t really look like alyx. In it. But she did not almost appear in the trailer anyways…
Until you can see her face that clear, don’t said she is ugly.
^what he said
did I say that she was ugly in any moment? is just that she doesn’t act like how alyx ussually would act. Specially when they saw all those ships. She would have said something like: Woah! Sound clips, that’s all this trailer would need for her.
Alyx in the trailer reminds me of someone in another game, but I don’t know who.
Anyyway, from what I’ve seen of her, she doesn’t look like alyx at all.
yeh may be from the final fantasy series.
youre an idiot if you think ppl didnt talk in those old movies, they did, with theirs bodies( even ignoring the whole subtitles thing), same goes for wallie, he made a lot of difrent souinds and face experssions. Gordon would have to become either a mime or expressionless, in both cases he would look like a retard in w world where everybody is pretty talkative. And a mime would make the film a joke, when the story seems more a serious one.
Only 2 things count in a movie, the story and acting, and if the main protagonists wont be allowed to act, the movie will be shit, since lets be honest, hl story was never its strong point.
That is true. HL’s strong point was definitely it’s … ground-breakingocity?
Sure, try to find the “Whoa” sound in Half-life 2s game file.

took under a minute.
Good job, your resourceful has impress me.
aw so bad that I had homework. I could have answered that before…
You didn’t answer, end of story.
Fong, you can be a real prick sometimes.
Yay! :3
Only when I am serious.
wait, you have moments of your life that YOU ARE SERIOUS in a forum?
you should be serious, in this most serious of matters.
now I am seriously lost. What are we talkin’ 'bout now?
You realize you’re flaming me while agreeing with my point, right? Silent characters work because they don’t have to physically speak; they can use body language to get their point across.
As for Gordon, he really doesn’t need to speak. His actions and facial expressions would speak for him without making him look like a tool, he doesn’t need to mime everything. And HL had a great, in-depth and imersive story, you just don’t get the entire thing spelled out for you through cutscenes.
