Example how a Half Life Movie Teaser could be

Watch

:awesome:

I’ve read that this is just a teaser, and the creator is gonna make a long trailer.

You know, that’s fucking awesome.

Half Life fans will never stop to surprise me.

I never liked the idea of an animated film or a film of Half Life too much, but wow, this does look awesome.

:jizz:

Oh… mah… gawd…
That was incredible. I want to watch it now.

This shit is sooo epic.

That is very well done. But NO! We must not see Freeman!

I’m kinda speechless here… I mean… WOW!

:open_mouth:

Fix’d.

I have no problem seeing him at all, just as long as he doesn’t speak, which I’m sure he won’t.

When i look at the train screen(bm) i was like, “Hmm… this look meh…” But then when i see freeman read the broad about 7 hour war i was like “Holy what the awesome!!!”

then i eyegasm about 3-4 time.

https://www.cee-gee.net/ creator website :awesome:

O_O

Holy fucknuts that’s cool.

oh-oh… wow!.. Holly… I mean… Jesus CEEGEE you’re a real teror!

Edit: Love the portal effect & invasion at the 0:25

Gordon-run is awesome, too! There are some mistakes but i don’t give a shit

I’ve only just noticed that the newspaper clippings have ‘Day Of Defeat’ and ‘Portal’ Storms…’ as headlines. :expressionless:

OMG, that the most incredible thing I’ve seen since last couple months. When the big mothership appeared on 0:28 my heart stops:fffuuu:

Holy fuck.

That was awesome.

Valve needs to hire this sucker and put him to work on the Half-Life cg/machinima/Team Fortress esque project they said they would be interested in doing instead of a Hollywood fuck-up.

I know this video is far away from being cannon but I have to ask.
Why is gordon not wearing his suit in BME.
And what are dropships carrying since there are no human combine?
ffffuuuu ALIENS!

My guess is that perhaps they are trying to portray the events in a more realistic time-space. In the game you don’t ever take off your suit and take a rest after running and gunning your way through countless Combine defenses. In reality, it would make more sense to have Gordon rest-up a bit after his City-17 escape. Of course you can’t do this in a game without sacrificing pacing. But in a movie this is a logical move to make.

Cool but not enough to shit my pants tho. I’ve always thought an HL movie must take the point of view of freeman himself, through his eyes. Something à la Cloverfield, where you witness directly the world falling apart.
