I’m not going to read this whole thread, just going to state my opinion. I believe that there is/are a higher entity/entities that may have created us, but if we were “created”, we were created at our most basic form, and then evolved into what we are today.

Any evidence for yours? Did you not just see the animals with the symbol of Allah on them? How can you deny the existence of a supreme being?

I didn’t come into this thread to argue, that’s more for political threads for me, I don’t need evidence, it’s what I believe. I never said I believed God was a big man in the sky with white robes and a long beard, I just said that I believe that there is/are supreme beings that most likely created mankind and all life at its most basic state. That’s a 100% plausible theory. I also believe in judgement after death, but that doesn’t mean I believe in Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory.

Why do people think there needs to be “beings” in order to create? If there is a “god” it’s just another name for the fundamental rules of our universe. They are what created it.
Is it really that hard to just say ‘I have no fucking idea how life began’ ?

I don’t know for sure how it began, neither do you. I’m just stating what I believe. Now like I said, I’m just here to say what I have to say and go. I don’t want this to turn into another 10 vs. Fuskox, because that’s usually what happens on these forums.
“I don’t know” is preferable to “I believe in the supernatural” when there is a lack of evidence.

Believe? About the start of the universe?
I believe in that which has evidence. Right now, it appears that the Big Bang Theory is one of the best explanations for the start of the universe that we have that matches the evidence that we see.
As for what started the Big Bang, I don’t know. Until I see some evidence, I can’t believe. There are some hypotheses but, again, I don’t know. I can’t believe without evidence.
So The Big Bang Theory is more plausible then “supernatural”, or superior beings? Honestly, we humans have no fucking idea about anything in the big picture. None of us do, that’s why I just think it’s best to believe whatever you believe.
It’s more plausible because there’s actual testable evidence for it.
