Episode 3 to appear at E3

History repeats itself, are we stuck in a loop!? :retard:

Nope, not fired last year so no.

I read in an interview, that Chet said, there will be no L4D3 in 2010

Twas joking. There really is no way that they would do that, the backlash would be too large.

Not to mention 3 years in Valve time=One eternity

Thinking about it, I too think that BM being finished is more likely than we getting news about Episode 3. Still, I’d love to hear about Episode 3.

well screw you guys. you enjoy games about the undead. the more the better
I don’t get the hate on more games.

I would love L4D3. But with some new gameplay. Seems like all these MP games suffer from mapathy.
They keep adding more maps, but the gameplay stays the same. Same with CS, TF, DOD, COD, etc.

That was my beef with L4D2. Since there was virtually no story to back up the gameplay, having another game that was so similar to the first didn’t do it for me, especially since I didn’t like the characters half as well as the ones from the original. Sure, there were more ways to get incapacitated and more guns to shoot zombies with, but that was pretty much it.

Anyways, the problem, saivert, is not with releasing more L4D. The problem is releasing more L4D when we’ve been waiting for years to play more Half-Life. But maybe that’s why they’re doing it. They know everyone will always buy more HL, so they don’t mind taking their time and trying out other stuff like Portal and L4D, which is great and all but when it pushes back more HL its :fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu:

Valve probably stopped into black mesa forums and saw all the idiots frothing at the mouth when black mesa went over the release date and said fuck it, they get nothing until we are done.

sorry I’m confused? why are we relating the surprise to black mesa?

It’s just wishful thinking from our part.

I thought L4D2 had a more in-depth story than the first one.

Well yes, but the first one had next to no story, so anything is better.

That’s true. Although, what I always did was watch the L4D intro over and over and pretend it had a story.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
