Wasn’t it just so they’d be more easily identifiable, as they’re potentially a larger threat?
I figured that, but while it does make them distinct from ordinary soldiers, the difference isn’t as noticeable from a distance, only up-close where it would probably already be obvious that that’s what they’re using. The rusty-colored texture does blend in more so with the outdoor environment like Omega said, somewhat defeating the purpose of making them stand out, since they’d be harder to see at a distance. The only real difference left is the color goggles glow in the dark. I just want to know the thought process behind it all.
Not really, no. If I have a problem with something that I can’t control myself, I make it known.
I think it was the different goggle colour that was intended to do most of the distinguishing and the rest may have been mostly aesthetic, considering the prison guards only had their goggles changed in the update.
I wondered why they didn’t apply it to all the soldiers. Why just shotguns?
Personally, I think all the soldiers should wear eye-patches in EP3.
They made that texture for the shotgun soldiers to make them visibly distinct from regular soldiers. Giving that texture to all of the soldiers kinda defeats the purpose.
I s’pose
I think that you will recive a Portalgun from the Borealis, it’s obvious that you will go inside the ship. :freeman:
Way to mindlessly state something that has been posted here a dozen times before.
