EP2 Vort

And another two in Eli’s lab that are zapping something as you ride the Elevator.

I believe the word your looking for iKy is, “pwn3d”.

And the one you can see shooting electricity at Combine after you get separated from Alyx at the end of Black Mesa: East/beginning of Ravenholme. I mean, two of the ones at the Vort camp are the hilarious ones that promise to use English unless they have unflattering things to say about you, then go ahead and (presumably) say a load of unflattering things about you, how could you forget? pwn3d indeed.

Just so everyone knows this suggestion worked. I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions and help.

Achievement Unlocked- Savd balck meas

Hmmm, was it fairly straightforward? Which version was it? I’d love to play HL2 in the OB engine, so I might have to try that myself.

my bad , they didn’t have a role whatsoever like the ones in ep2 , so no reason to remember they ass

To anyone

Wait for the updates of HL2 and Ep1… then you have the new vorts (engine) and lots of new achievements :stuck_out_tongue:

Hard time forgetting them though, the images won’t go away! :’(

And that would be after HL3 has been released, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope xD

It was version 8 all I did was delete all the textures, selected the original characters in the character pimper, copy the models of the vort from the “episode two.gcf” and the textures from the “source 2007 shared materials.gcf” and then delete FF’s “Skill.cfg”. It took me a while to get everything right but it was worth it in the end I think.

I agree…

I preferred the wrinkly dry texture to the slug-like skin, primarily because it was closer to the Half-Life 1 Vorts.

Like I said earlier I think that would be easy all you have to do is open the “source models.gcf” copy the model files for the vort and paste them in a folder labled “models” in your “HL2” folder. Then you open the “source materials.gcf” and copy the textures for the vort and place them in a folder labled “Vortiguant” which is in your “models” folder that is in your “materials” folder that is in the “HL2” folder. If one or more of these folders do not exist you need to create them. I am fairly certain it will work. Try it and if it doesn’t work then post back and I’ll try to give you another solution.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
