Please be true. I need that game.
Apparently they say it is going to be a continuation of Oblivion, YAY!
They better ditch that terrible Gamebryo engine and use the idTech 5 engine.
From what I’ve heard they started development WAY before they purchased id, so it’s unlikely, although I hope the aforementioned tweaks on the Gamebryo engine has been done by id themselves. :jizz:
Great news. I loved the previous game.
Needs more scrolls.
These are my highlights:
“Fallout 3 technically does a lot more than Oblivion. The new stuff is an even bigger jump from that”
“I can say it is on the existing platforms, which we’re really happy with. You almost feel like you have a new console when you see the game.”
So basically there’s a good chance of this game being released as a broken beta again? (new vegas)
Whats an elder scroll Is that some kind of old scroll that you give to old people
Less Oblivion and more Morrowind please. Screw bugfixes.
^YES MAN
It should be noted that I don’t think there has been a Bethesda(ish) game since and including Morrowind that was not badly bugged. Its kinda to be expected.
Ehh, you can go back further than Morrowind. Daggerfall was affectionately referred to as “Buggerfall”, and I don’t think Arena was exactly brilliant either.
They should just feature the whole country or world or whatever.
Yeah, I’m only going back as far as I know. It kinda comes with the territory of massively open games I suppose.
All I can say is that V being buggy really won’t affect my opinion of it. The console is there for a reason.
Oblivion was good but I just hated the engine. Almost everything was awkward. I hope the engine would have at least been massively updated and tweaked/whatever so it will a new breath of fresh air.
That would be impossibly large. DF world was only one province and it took two weeks to walk from oe side of the map to the other.
EDIT: @maxey
I’d rather not, quality over quantity. Daggerfall’s map was fucking gigantic and boring as hell.
Also no duh they are making this. Why would they not make a sequel to a series that makes money and has a fan base?
