Not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but this is just a stockpile of all the cool stuff I, and anyone else, has found. Not much to say, so here’s for some pictures!

I do enjoy easter eggs on games, it’s nice to see this game put in quite a few.

I’ve been trying to get the achievement ‘Unknown Species’. You’re meant to take the purple hat in Pic 1 (though you get it again in Lambda Core) to the end of the game. But because you and the hat are separated on going through teleporters, it’s pretty damn hard to even get the thing past the first teleporter room.

There’s a lot of stuff about pizza in this game. I made a post here about a noclip easteregg I found relating to pizza, and someone replied with numerous other things in the game about pizza. Interesting stuff.

Another easter egg: When you first enter Black Mesa, the guard in the airlock chamber mentions that you “got rid of the ponytail” A reference to Opposing Force, in which the Gordon Freeman model had a ponytail.

I just finished the game and I’m planning on playing again but with noclip to attempt to find all the easter eggs.
Also, I didn’t expect for people to reply so quickly :open_mouth:

This is so hard I said screw it and nocliped that hat up and finshed. I SPENT 30 MINS ON IT AND DID THE REST LEGIT! I feel like the teleporter part is impossible…

On the monitors that have the blue screen of death the application that crashed is ‘HL2.exe’ referencing half life 2

On a few of the monitors they are running Hammer, the level design program used to make all of the half-life games including this mod. (you can see it in the Fony picture posed by OP ^ Other monitors on the desktop show the current icon for Mozilla Firefox which didn’t exist at the time half-life takes place.

The soldiers make a reference to the movie Pulp Fiction by saying “I’m going to get medieval on your ass!”

At the end whn you reach the lambda reactor there’s a can that says “Linux Cola 100% open source” and has a picture of tux.

That is a standard saying.

The only movie reference I could find was a barney saying “if it bleeds, we can kill it” which is a reference to Predator

On Lambda Core? I kept dying by silly stuff like walking up to those teleporters in the teleporter tower while those platforms were still moving.

Another movie reference - two scientists have a conversation involving ‘TPS Reports’ and having to ‘work on Saturday’, both are from the movie ‘Office Space’.
