Is anyone interested in the new Serious Sam game? Serious Sam 3: BFE

This too … SS3 have even better graphics 
its really interesting that even 6 years old hardware is able to render that … sure PC versions(if there will be any)will look much better but try to imagine what games will look like with next generation of consoles, PC hardware will be allowed to move forward much faster with that so Im awaiting close to CGI quality on PC with next generation of consoles.
But maybe Im expecting too much
Serious Sam 3 does look pretty cool, but I wish people would stop calling it SS3. Every time I see that my brain goes “Holy shit System Shock 3!”
This game is exclusive to PC (at the moment) but yeah the graphics are pretty nice.
Supposedly EA’s owned the rights for some time.
And time has come when Serious Sam started to copy designs from q4.

Where are the similarities you’re referring to anyway? I’m not trying to sound like a mega fan-boy. but i respect the games for there true to the roots style and not worrying about any sort of realism. The games are supposed to be in the same sort of run and gun style of Quake, so obviously there will be some inspiration/ design similarities, but i didn’t notice any from the short video.

But yeah I´m looking forward to SS, loved the first one when it came out, used to coop all the time with my school/college mates. Liked the “second episode” but could never get into SS2.
Also, is it me or while SS3 graphics look awesome, they don´t look cartoony like we´ve come to expect from an SS game?
Really? I thought there was more from Doom 3, what with one looking like a CyberDemon/Hellknight combined, and the other looking exactly like a Mancubus.
Personally, I never cared for the SS series. Found most of the games to be entertaining for all of 5 minutes.

I am looking forward to the new SSX game. I played SSx tricky and really liked it, but what I feel it lacked was prettiness. I prefer cross country over trick heavy riding and just enjoying the scenery. The new one is shaping up to be really pretty.
Yeah, the devs said they were dropping the cartoony style seen in the previous serious sam 2 game, but the first and second encounter weren’t cartoony really

Maybe the graphical style had a slight cartoon edge to it, but I never felt the game it’s self was really cartoony, just looks at serious sam 2, for instance, then you will see how cartoony it is compared to the first and second encounter, but I’m glad Serious Sam 3 will have a more serious, but still old school feel to it.

As i previously said, the game is inspired by quake and similar run and gun shooters. I never said i know you, But i implied you act like a complete tool on these forums, which is nothing short of the truth.

Seriously (no pun intended), Serious Sam always had very original designs, despite ‘being inspired by ~~’… What this idtech4-era strogg is doing in SS is beyond me.
