E3 2009

It’s not being made by Bungie, but rather an inhouse development team from MS. If they don’t get enough of the crew back, then I don’t expect a lot out of it. I expect it will either run on the Halo 3 engine or be a totally crap new engine.

Uhh… both games are being made by Bungie =/

Oh my bad. I was going off very old information for Reach it seems. It is good to hear that Bungie is doing it.

OMG did I see disco inferno there? I think I did…:jizz:

Oh and btw.

I came

Everything sucks. Except Brütal Legend.

Nah, that’d be CCSS: “Counter-Counter-Strike: Source”. Which would make it… uum, “Strike: Source”? But I lol’d at Peggle: World Tour.

AND NOW TO SAY SOMETHING ON-TOPIC, PETER MOLYNEUX WAS MAKING GAY HAND GESTURES AT MICROSOFT’S CONFERENCE, IDKLOL.

edit (because of patonki): DOUBLE FIIIIIIINEE

2nd edit (figured I actually have something to say): Assassin’s Creed 2 trailer was bloody terrific. The cloth simulation was godly. Do want.

I hope Ubisoft learned their lesson. Or maybe not, seeing how well did first one sell.

Yes I bought it and then resold it within the week. Rubbish… Cool story but rubbish gameplay.

Rubbish Gameplay?!! The freakin’ gameplay was the only reason i was hooked. If there is any reason it wasn’t “Top Notch”, it was the repetition in gameplay, nothing else.

Yeah, likely. I hope it’s Red Team, cuz if it’s Blue Team, that means MC is going to be in it, and I don’t think he should be in any of the stand-alones.

Just plain incorrect. The parkour was quite simple to pull off, but it’s what made the rest of the game so good, evasions, different approaches to assasinations…with beuitiful animation stringing it all together.
.

News just in!

It’s official! Nobody cares about Halo anymore. :3

^^Quoted for the fatherfucking truth.
A Trilogy is enough.

Not that i love Halo or anything, its alright and i’ve just played the first one myself, but if the players have had enough, they wouldn’t buy or support any new games that might come of it.

Okay so the gameplay was repetitious, thus the gameplay sucks. Not that hard to understand kthxbai

This just in from E3… nobody cares about Nintendo! :fffuuu:

and what’s up with G4 using that dramatic “Iron Chef” music during it’s coverage of the Nintendo E3 presentation. :fffuuu:

Wow, L4D2 came totally out of nowhere. Don’t get me wrong, TF2 and L4D are both great games, but as of late it feels like Valve have been neglecting their single player game that made them famous. I see it this way, TF2 and L4D are its two new well-fed children, while HL2 is the older one that’s locked in the attic that gets seldomly fed. Chances are they probably are working on Ep3, but no one has heard any news about it since those concept art shots were released however long ago it was.
As for L4D2, cash grab or full blown sequel? I really don’t know what to think about it at this point in time.

Edit: Also, L4D2, what kind of uninspired, bland name is that?? I love how sequels these days are just the original title’s name with a big fat 2 stuck on the end, like they don’t have enough imagination to come up with some prefix on the original name. Left4Dead:The Second Wave or Left2Dead would’ve been better.

I’ll tell you what they are doing. They are wasting their god damn time. They are taking advantage of the Online Game’s and thus why they are pushing out another L4D. Just like what these other companies are doing. Single Player only games aren’t selling anymore. CoD4, and Halo are great examples of them ditching the single player and focusing only on the multiplayer portion of it. And that’s exactly what Valve is doing do people like us, that’s played the game since it’s release date in 1998.

I doubt we will see E3 for a long, long time…

I blame it on the economy and swine flu. But seriously, I am more of a SP gamer than MP, and the lack of news about ep3 is quite disheartening. Fingers crossed something is announced later on in E3.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
