E3 2009

So guys, I’d like to hear your thoughts and expectations about the upcoming E3 this year.

It seems it’s going to be an exciting couple of days in the L.A. Convention Center, with a lot more announcements than last year (I’m not even halfway through the pre-E3 blowout at GTTV/Spike). My personal hopes are for hearing more info on games such as Assassin’s Creed 2, Brutal Legend, Thi4f, especially on Alan Wake, and others such as Batman Arkham Asylum, BGaE2 and Halo: ODST to a lesser extent (OK, just kidding on that last one). I’ll be keeping an eye for Bioshock/Mass Effect/Modern Warfare 2 info too, despite not really being into those franchises. I’m also interested in Microsoft’s conference; I think they have a few tricks up their sleeve to show us this year, the rumored motion controller to compete with Nintendo’s WiiMote/Motion+/whatever line of products, anything they have to show really - they’re bound to bring something new on the table on E3.

I’m also interested in the new announcments in this year’s expo. I’ve just heard about Brink, Bethesda’s new role-playi-- I mean game, just game, I’m sure it’s gonna be a FPS. :3 And, of course:

VALVE, MOTHERFUCKERS, ANNOUNCE EPISODE 3 ALREADY!

So, how about you?

PS: I just had the idea of creating the thread and then I saw your post on the GT trailers thread, blue, so… here you go! ^_^

I’m eagerly awaiting any news on the next major GTA title, even though it’s probably unlikely this year. I can’t wait for Valve to announce Portal 2 and Ep 3… that’s all really.

This. I just hope those games are released next year, so I can actually play them. My laptop specs are pitiful, so it would probably melt if I tried to run Portal 2.

Man, I hate you all. I would KILL to attend E3. Damn geographical distances… :’(

There’s a lot I’m hoping to see this year, especially Half-Life 2: Episode Three. If they show nothing on it, I’ll be very let down.

Well, they’ve secured an entire room, they’ve got to have some good news.

Alan Wake, Episode 3 / Portal 2 and the new MGS

Hehehe, Gay Tony. The little information they’ve given us sounds pretty neat.

Ah the insanity of having a World Game Convention and not be there. Hurts my heart. :frowning:

Well, looking forward to all games Spooks mentioned, might be a few more but can’t remember right. Oh well, i guess Gamespots HD E3 videos should keep me satisfied. Hopefully.

i hope booth babes will return … thats all

I like your priorities, blue.

…Guess where I am.

I have heard a crapload of rumors that VALVe will announce something this E3

Geography isn’t a problem for me. The fact that I’m not a member of the gaming press and have no connections is.

I’m looking forward to news of StarCraft 2 (beta opening maybe), Anything Valve has to say, and videos about games that I already know about.

Also MAG looks interesting for the ps3.

thi4f und gothic 4 footage , me want

Anything Valve have to say  i cant wait for HL2: EP3 :stuck_out_tongue:

Aside from the obvious hope for a VALVe announcement, I’m hoping for a nice slice of Kaidan Alenko.

That’s pretty much it.

Team Fortress 3 :fffuuu:

Oh, I can add WH40k: Space Marine to my list now.

i personaly hope VALVE will announce somthing new for CSS. that game is boring now. i want CSS 2! or somthing… other then that portal 2 and EP3. im excited.

Mhm… 9 years of development for TF2 and then TF3 in 2 years… Pfff…
But I heard things about this weird “The Crossing”…

So I think they will release a new pack like “The Orange Box”… just with

“Half-Life 2: Episode Three”
“Portal 2”
and “The Crossing”

But I just want EP3 (combined with Black Mesa it will complete the story of “Half-Life”) and Portal 2
(anyone who has “P0rtal” need “P0rtal 2”).

But this time, I will buy it directly via UK-Import to avoid Cutted s**t

err…yeah

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
