I have heard of this game a few times on the forum and have finally bothered to google it. It looks pretty cool, so what has happened to it? Everybody says it wil never be released, so is it dead, or is that an exageration? Has 3d Realms just given up on it or is it still being worked on?

Anyway, DNF has been in development for about 12 years, but recently 3D Realms got Bankrupt and decided to fire all or almost all his employees. But they said the development of the game is still going. Is it true or not we don’t know.

Ok, thanks. I didn’t know anything about 3d realms or Duke Nukem Forever which is why I asked. It’s a shame.

I cry whenever I see the new Duke Nukem Forever media. It’s just… I really wanted Duke back!

Anyone who worked on that game seriously wasted their life. Making a game that will never be released.

It’s like spending forever eating the worlds biggest…cheese…for a record, then stopping before you finish it. Or whatever.

Another gaming company should buy Duke Nukem Forever off 3D Realms and finish it.

Also, how could it have been in development for 12 years and have next gen graphics?

they changed the engine too often. that was their problem, they ever wanted to have the game with the best graphics before they even had their game content done.
anyway, I think 3D Realms still developes on DNF.
