Gearbox hired most of the guys working on DNF too, so it’s basically the same guys still working on it.

Just beat Duke3D today. Now I got nothing to play until the DNF demo comes out. I hope the demo is single and multiplayer.
For some reason I feel its the right time for a new game to come, I’m bored of everything I got.

As the release isn’t until beginning of May I doubt we’ll see the demo much before April with the early access club maybe getting it mid march. It’s too far away now to release it imo unless they were going to launch a multiplayer beta.
Well, To be fair, Broussard actually got serious about releasing the game, but when they asked for more money to actually finish the game, the whole law suit started because, ya know, Broussard kind blew the last couple million on deleted content.
But I’m still glad Gearbox took it over, this pretty much guarantees no more delays because It’s all polishing now, no changing it anymore.
When the early access club gets it we will al get it. Trust me.
Why, are you part of the club and are you planning to anonymously leak the demo out to the internets, and cause worldwide controversy, thus foiling Gearbox’s plans to delay the game further from the public eye?
I’m not part of it. But if someone doesn’t leak the demo then the internet is officially over.
I am part of that “first access club” but I have yet to see anything come of it that the rest of the world didn’t get to see already.
In any case I won’t be that idiot that leaks the Demo if and or when it does become available (which it hasn’t) mostly because I’m too stupid to figure out how to do that anyway and too respectful of the developers to look into doing such a EULA-breaking act.
The early demo access should be through a code that you unlock on Steam and other digital distribution suites, I believe.
i think this would be the right guess here, i rly hope it gets on steam and if it does im totally gonna pre purchase at any cause

This a thousand times. When telling someone why I game on a pc Steam and it’s advantages is one of the first things I mention.
If it’s like Dark messiah, and multiplayer requires steam but SP doesn’t, I will be fine with it. I hate logging in to crap for SP games. While steam is nice for keeping games up to date, I’d really rather not have to use it while I’m playing an SP game. Like Fallout NV. Especially since i got like 2 other people who want to play the game at the same time.
