That song is full of holes, and you imply that all people who drink alcohol are the idiots who fight in wars.
It’s really easy to win an argument against yourself if you’re biased.

Are you really using that as evidence?
On topic, I think that if you are going to get addicted to a substance, be it weed, alcohol, burgers, whatever, you were clearly too stupid and thick to see that your life was going down hill. If you are able to keep the use of any of these thing at a reasonable level, then you are smart enough to realize actions have consequences. So, my point is, the intelligence of a person using a substance should not be measured by what substance they use but how much of it they use.
I smoke weed sometimes as I said, but as seomeonrandm says, I keep it within a reasonable level.
I know when I smoke too much. And I keep it at a max of once a week or so. I sometimes make exceptions, but sometimes months pass without me touching one.
In the end it all comes down to discipline.
I do think the song makes some excellent points; it’s very ironic that somehow this guy crashed out on his couch, playing a playstation, and smoking weed is a bigger threat to society then the yob in the pub starting fights and just generally being a hassle in hospitals and to the police. They are the “stereotypical” drinker and stoner, and if you’re going to label all stoners one way then the drinkers should be labeled the other. I however don’t personally believe in stereotyping anyone, everyone’s an individual, and there are a lot of sensible drinkers out there but it’s the majority that spoil it for them
Implying that people don’t do the same shit on weed or any other drug.
Oh my, we have a lot of weed-smokers here.
Am I the only one here that doesn’t do any sort of drugs? (except medicinal, of course)
I think we have quite a few. I don’t, for one.
Do you drink?
Lol! Thats because its a rap song, not a graduate thesis.
Lets see you try pleading your case that dope smokers are destroying society using only rhyming couplets.
No, I don’t.
Allright, just checkin. There a plenty of people who don’t see alchohol as a drug, after all.
But yeah, good man.
I was talking mainly about the points and arguments the stoner in the song brought up.
I call them “lyrics”
If he’s going to use it as evidence then I’ll treat it as such.
There’s people who need to debate about weed and alcohol, and then there’s people who just smoke weed and drink booze and they don’t care about what the others think.
Obviously I’m one of them, but I will say this, apart from occasionally making your eyes red, weed doesn’t do anything bad to your life.
If you fuck up your life, don’t blame it on weed, it is you who fucked up, not the weed.
Then do the same thing for alcohol and any other stimulant/drug.
that doesnt justify alcohol being legal and cannabis not
Other drugs can really fuck you up, have you ever tried speed? mush? coke? lsd?
Well Mush can’t really fuck you up either. Well it can hardly fuck up your brain and health, as it’s just a food poisoning. The only drawback is the next day is the morning. Your stomach will hurt a bit, but if you drink a lot of water after the trip as ended you’ll be okay.
I don’t know I haven’t tried it yet.
